    I am looking forward for a right way to ask my boss that when he’s going to assign me the next task. Actually it is an online job and the communication medium is via email. I used to write business plans, website content, other marketing documents etc.

    It’s been 2 months that no new task is given to me. I am willing to work and I want to ask boss about it. However, I am unsure and want to know that:
    1. Is it a right/professional way to ask him or not? and if yes, then how should I do it?
    2. What should be the opening of my message that will create a positive impact on my boss?
    3. Is it something bad to show willingness to work?
